Since its inception in Idaho in 1997, Company of Fools¹ mission has always been to share stories of the human heart. Whether that is by teaching elementary school children to express their creative voices through their in-school program, Stages of Wonder or performing stories that broaden our understanding of the lives of others such as True West starring Bruce Willis, Side Man and The Seagull the Fools¹ work illuminates the magic, mystery and wonder of the human experience. Today the Company creates dynamic productions year round while providing arts-in-education throughout Idaho. Among the Company's accomplishments have been a 2004 Excellence in the Arts Award from Governor Kempthorne and in December 2000, the Company became the first theatre in Idaho¹s history to receive Constituent Theatre status from Theatre Communications Group, the national organization for the American theatre.
